Poll: Goodbye my (un)Lovely 2020! 🎆

Table of Contents

This week we asked the Invstr Community what they will remember most from 2020!  Not surprisingly, 82% of you say Covid-19 is what you will remember most. This doesn’t mean it is all bad news.

The Presidential elections came in second at 6%. No matter your political views, something positive came out, which is the highest engagement and participation in the history of the US elections. But the underbelly of all of this is the 5% that have been focused on the conspiracy theories.

From Covid-19 to elections, there are many theories, but what we can confirm is the markets have been robust despite all the news and conspiracy theories! 5% of you will remember the robust stock markets the most, with moves like Tesla!
While most of us stayed home, zoomed, social distanced, learned a new language, watched Netflix, had classes online, developed DIY skills and invested our way into 2021, we could not have survived without home deliveries. We relied on them to feed our bellies, clothe our bodies, satiate our tech needs and satisfy our home improvement inspirations from Pinterest.

Here is to 2021 and a continued positive market and a year where we can hopefully enjoy seeing our friends and family without worrying about shaking hands or greeting with a hug and kiss. Until then, a big kiss goodbye to our (un)lovely 2020 and open arms to 2021!!
