Poll: USA! USA! USA! 🇺🇸

Poll: USA! USA! USA!

“What’s your feeling about the US market’s future?”

  • 62%:   Bullish
  • 38% Bearish

There’s a commotion in markets again as investors get convinced stocks have hit a top, and a correction is imminent. The tug of war between bulls and bears has never been closer. We’ve decided to sense check sentiment by putting the topic to our community, and it looks like we’re still narrowly betting on America.

The United States remains the most sought after country to live and work. It’s the ‘land of opportunity,’ the biggest economy in the world. It has a “secret sauce” that unleashes the potential of a people, and it’s overcome countless obstacles down the years.

You’ll probably go broke if you short the United States, but that’s not the point. For the Invstr community, it’s about opportunity cost.

There are fast-growing emerging markets out there trying to replicate elements of the American formula, and shorter-term, Stateside stocks have strayed dangerously far from underlying economic conditions. We’ve never seen low-interest rates lift stocks higher while unemployment soars and industry forecasts worsen. The argument is compelling for markets to retreat.

Would you give up your favorite US stocks to avoid a temporary bump in the road?
