Trump’s Social Network
It looks like former United States President Donald Trump is returning to social media after getting banned from many social media platforms in January. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and other social media networks Temporarily or indefinitely banned Trump. But this time, Trump won’t be posting on someone else’s platform — he’ll be creating posts on his own social media network.
On Sunday, advisor and former campaign spokesman for Trump, Jason Miller, said he thinks “that we’re going to see Trump returning to social media in probably about two or three months here with his own platform.” Miller says Trump’s social media platform will bring in tens of millions of new users and become the “hottest ticket in social media” as people eagerly wait to see what Trump does.
It’s currently unclear whether Trump will collaborate with another company to create his social media network. Jason Miller says he can’t go into much detail but added that “there have been a lot of high-power meetings he’s been having at Mar-a-Lago with some teams of folks who have been coming in, and… it’s not just one company that’s approached the president, there have been numerous companies.”
Without a doubt, there are many people curious to know what goes on in Trump’s mind. And whether you hated them or loved them, Trump’s daily tweets gave us a peek inside of his mind, drawing massive amounts of attention — so it’s no surprise that he decided to create his own platform to continue talking to his vast audience.
