Snoop Dog Glazzzes Dunkin’s Donuts
Think Snoop Dog only cares about promoting marijuana edibles? Think again! The rapper and Dunkin’ Brands have allied in the quick-service restaurant industry, both passionate about plant-based food alternatives. Dunkin’ wants to revive its stock market highs from 2019, so who better to take sentiment higher than Snoop?
Bears in the Invstr community are outnumbered fifty-seven to four by optimistic (and winning) traders who see the company’s locations continuing to balloon in 2020. In efforts to drive footfall to those franchisees and deliver on investors’ expectations, Dunkin’ is releasing a Snoop-approved “Beyond D-O-Double-G Sandwich.” Imagine a donut on the top, a donut on the bottom, and some fake protein-based sausages, egg, and cheese in-between. Delectable.
The day their joint effort is officially released hasn’t been confirmed yet. There’s still time for investors to back out if they sense a plant-based bubble forming, but most investors are set on being patient until taste-testing sessions are completed, and the menu item is approved.
Opting to team up with Impossible Burgers on the Impossible Whopper has booned Burger King’s bottom line and proved a tailwind to Restaurant Brands’ stock. McDonald’s has also jumped on the sustainable and healthy food concept with Beyond Meat PLT Sandwiches. Now, it’s Dunkin’s turn. Over to you, Snoop!
