Go Big or Go Home? What about going big on a big home?
A monster mansion in Beverly Hills, California is going to be auctioned off for $160 million, making it the most expensive listing to ever be put up for auction.
The Villa Firenze is worth a quick Google search. This nine-acre estate is the largest in North Beverly Park which is an exclusive gated community once home to celebrities like Denzel Washington, Sylvester Stallone and Eddie Murphy.
With 3 guest houses, 17 bathrooms and 8 half-baths, it’s safe to say that no one will be fighting for counter space at any time during your stay. The home alone is 20,000 square feet and is just stunning.
As for the auction, the mansion will be sold to the highest bidder with no reserve. Its billionaire owner Steven Udvar had apparently listed his property back in 2018 for $165 million. $5 million cheaper and an exciting auction, what a deal!
The man selling the home is known for being one of the founders of the aircraft leasing industry. Udvar-Hazy is a founder of International Lease Finance. Back in 1990, the company was sold for a whopping $1.3 billion.
Good luck to the tiny fraction of the population able to participate!
