Nintendo World
Some visit the Edinburgh Castle, but some will be visiting Bowser’s Castle after Universal Studios Japan announced the grand opening of the first ever Super Nintendo World. The park will make its debut on February 4th, 2021 after the launch was initially delayed earlier this summer due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This ginormous park includes themed rides based on classic Nintendo characters and games like Mario Kart, Yoshi, Bowser’s Castle and Peach’s Castle. The park’s main attraction comes in the form of a Mario Kart themed park ride where riders will be immersed in the video games iconic courses and race around the track.
Visitors will also get the chance to throw on a Power-Up Band that will enable guests to complete various challenges, collect virtual coins, items and more. You’ll be able to link your band to your smartphone to see exactly how you’re doing throughout your trip.
For Nintendo, the launch will mark a brand-new day. What better way to personalize and bring some nostalgia in the lives of many than through a wonderful experience like a theme park.
Will you be flying to Japan for a chance to hop on the Mario Kart track?
