Earnings Reports (11/21/2022 – 11/25/2022)

*dates subject to change*

Earnings Preview:

Markets have finished the week at a lower position after earnings and economic reports lessened last week’s big gains.

Some earnings highlights included Macy’s and Walmart, two of the nation’s largest retailers that both climbed following positive earnings and strong outlooks for the holiday season.

Following consumer spending data and retail earnings, investors have started to slowly lose hope over a Fed interest rate pivot in December.

Overall, U.S. stocks held stronger on Friday but still finished the week off with losses as investors digested new economic data and midterm election results following last week’s CPI report. Next week, investors should read the report on new home sales, the manufacturing PMI, and simply enjoy Thanksgiving as we head into the holiday season.

Here are the companies from this week’s expected earnings:

  • J.M. Smucker Co. – 11/21 (#jmsk)
  • Zoom Video – 11/21 (#zoom)
  • Urban Outfitters – 11/21 (#urban)
  • Best Buy Co. – 11/22 (#bestbuy)
  • Baidu – 11/22 (#baidu)
  • Dollar Tree – 11/22 (#dollart)
  • Deere & Company – 11/23 (#deere)
  • SentinelOne – 11/23 (#sent)

There are no notable earnings for Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday (Markets will be closed on Thursday and close early on Friday).
