Market Recap – September 1st
As the US markets have been declining for the past couple of days, they finally rose a little higher yesterday. The S&P 500 went up 11.85 points, or 0.3%, the Dow went up 149.99 points or 0.5%, but the Nasdaq went down 31.08 points, or 2%. Gold, oil, and other commodities fell, and bond yields hit their highest levels since June. A couple of stocks we are watching are Lululemon and Forma Therapeutics. Lululemon year to year has dropped from about $388 to $294 but recently went up 9.46% after hours. Forma Therapeutics is medium size chemicals company that has recently had a 51.29% increase.
