Market Recap – November 29th
Markets ended Tuesday’s trading day with little change as investors seemed to be on pause on ahead of a speech by Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell. The S&P 500 slipped 0.16%, the NASDAQ Composite went down 0.59%, and the Dow Jones rose 0.01%. Within Asian markets, several Chinese internet companies rose upon positive news of senior vaccination rates, such as Baidu, which climbed 5.28%. On the domestic front, popular fintech company PayPal fell 2.87% following news of losing sales to Apple Pay this holiday season.
