Mach-E Tops Tesla Model 3 ⚡

Mach-E Tops Tesla Model 3

Consumer Reports is swapping the Tesla Model 3 for the Ford Mustang Mach-E as its new top electric vehicle pick for 2022. The designation is sure to give Ford a morale boost as it seeks to outpace Tesla in the race to become the number one EV manufacturer in the US.

Tesla has long dominated CR’s EV rankings, with the Model 3 holding the position for the past two years. But the publication says a variety of factors, including ride quality, reliability, and the in-car user experiences, have led it to crown a new winner in the Mustang Mach-E.

These kinds of reviews are something that users need to know before choosing and buying their EVs, as cars are as much of an investment as it is a liability. Consumer Report gives a point in why the Mustang Mach-E is the preferred vehicle now, despite the many choices as the top EV of this year.

Consumer Reports say that the Mustang Mach-E is a good choice for an electric vehicle purchase this 2022, and its review may help bring another perspective when buying a car from the company. Apart from Tesla, users are given a choice of the Ford EV to consider, which might provide them with perspective in their purchase.

Overall, Tesla fell seven spots to 23rd place in Consumer Reports ranking of 32 major auto brands. It’s the poorest showing in the seven years Tesla has been included in the “Top Picks” issue.
