Just Fooling About
It’s April Fool’s Day and companies around the world are getting involved in some hilarious antics. Who are you pranking today?
A revolutionary zero emissions micro-mobility transport product (that probably still won’t meet EU regulations) is sweeping across Australia and may revolutionise the transport industry forever. The pogo stick-sharing app, UberGo, has experienced a surge in demand and is likely to dramatically dent the revenue streams of direct rivals Uber and Lyft (even after its blockbuster IPO). Incredible stuff. History in the making!
Amazon is also stepping up its game to take its ‘audible’ service underwater to our fishy friends in the form of a three-second audiobook to keep your scaly pets company and educated through a waterproof headset. Animal rights activists were pleased with the result after years of campaigning for equal fish rights finally paid off.ย
And finally, the years of oppression for the vertically gifted are over as Australian company, Wotif, launches Emu airlines which caters exclusively to the extra tall. Services include: extra tall seat backs, more leg space, complimentary yoga, extra luggage allowance for large clothes/shoes and specially designed boarding stairs with higher rises between stairs. What a great step forward against the injustices of the past!
From all of us at Invstr – happy April Fool’s!
