This week we asked the Invstr Community where they thought crypto would be in ten years. There was a wide variety of opinions, but the number one most common response was that crypto would be regulated and centralized. In effect, this would mean crypto, although existing, would lose its fundamentally decentralized nature, and instead be controlled by a government (in the form of a CBDC).
The next most popular response was that crypto will be universally adopted. This outcome is possible; however, it really depends on the government and to what extent they choose to compete with or directly regulate crypto to the best of their ability. It may also depend on how much activity continues in the Web3 space and if projects continue to be improved and developed. Some invstr users also felt Bitcoin could hit 20 million while some didn’t care much for how crypto will be doing in ten years.
Overall, the Invstr community has once again spoken and with a diverse range of opinions! Thanks for sharing and happy investing everyone!
