I spy with my little eye an IPO
This week’s list of Initial Public Offerings makes it the busiest and biggest week since May of 2019 when Uber was first listed. The list includes cloud software company Snowflake who plans on raising $3.08 billion at a $30 billion dollar valuation, making it the biggest software Initial Public Offering of all time.
The list does not stop there. Unity Software Inc., a direct rival of Epic Games (the creator of Fortnite) will also be listed this week. Unity is planning to sell 25 million shares priced at $34 to $42 each, according to its filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission with a goal to raise up to $1.21 billion.
Packaging company Pactiv Evergreen (PTVE) is expected to be the third-biggest IPO listed this week. The company is the biggest producer and packager of fresh food and is expected to raise $861 million at a valuation of about $3.4 billion.
Included in the list is Broadstone Net Lease under the ticker “BNL”. Amwell or “AMWL”, which offers insurers and patients a telehealth platform and Vitru Ltd. VTRU, a Brazilian digital education company, among others.
This will be a week to remember for many investors and companies alike. Keep your eyes open!
