Poll: Hybrid Working 👨‍💻

Table of Contents

This week, we asked the Invstr Community what their opinion is on Apple’s work from home policy. The winner, by a very slim margin, was the 33 percent of Invstrs who believe that 3 days a week of office work is easy. Hybrid work is something schools have implemented during the pandemic, and 3 days of instruction wasn’t too much for them. The same could apply here with adults as before the pandemic, it was 5 days a week, giving you 2 days to work in your comfy home. People still enjoy being around colleagues in-person, but 3 days a week is a deal that’s hard to deny, making this a smart first place finish. In second place is the 30 percent of Invstrs who don’t mind this and would love to “go with the flow”. The similarity between these first two options likely explains the small difference in votes, and it makes sense because this is what most employees do when it comes to their working situation. They receive news about it, and adapt, and that’s what makes them good employees for their businesses.

To close out the podium, we have none other than the 20 percent of Invstrs who believe that work from home is the way to go from here on out. Work from home has provided a lot of benefits to families other than being able to relax as you can now work from anywhere. People have sold their house and moved into a smaller one, and the pandemic taught us a lot about these benefits. After a while, it tends to get boring though, but there are still some who enjoy it, making this a good 3rd place finish. In last place, we have the 17 percent of Invstrs who already work from the office and have nothing against Apple’s policy. Some companies believe that work from home has decreased the productivity of their employees and have already ordered their workers to come back. One good example is Elon Musk with Tesla, so a good amount of the workforce has been back in-person. This works for last place purely based on the amount of people who have different preferences, but there’s no doubt that this is the option many are stuck with in their companies.

Would you enjoy 3 days in the office? Have fun and see you next time with more poll results!
