This week we asked the Invstr Community about what actions they believe investors should take during a pullback in the market.
25% of the Invstr Community say sell everything! Selling stocks in panic is the worst thing you could do after a stock market crash. However, these investors believe that they may lose money long-term if they sit on cash and wait for a market sell-off.
41% of the Invstr Community say sit tight! These investors are patient. They believe that if you sell or buy too soon, financial damage occurs. On the other hand, if you leave your portfolio alone and wait things out, you won’t be negatively affected at all.
34% of the Invstr Community say buy more! Successful investing is about buying low and selling high. When you’re bullish, pullbacks and even corrections are great buying opportunities. These investors believe that instead of selling after a crash, you do just the opposite.
