Market Recap – February 27th
On Mondayโs trading day, markets bounced after a rough week; however, just before the bell, investors were still weary over the recent economic data and earnings, thus sending all indices with minor gains. To start the new week off, the S&P 500 climbed 0.31%, the NASDAQ Composite went up 0.63%, and the Dow Jones just rose by 0.22%.
With their CEO confirming his departure, railroad operating company Union Pacific saw its shares gain 9.36% after investors approved of the new change. Also on the positive side, Tesla saw more increases following a successful month, bouncing 5.46% after positive production news related to their German factories.
