Poll: Tweet, Tweet, Tweet 📳

Table of Contents

This week, we asked the Invstr Community what their opinion is on Twitter stock following Musk’s eagerness to acquire the company. The winner by a decent margin was the 39 percent of Invstrs who believe that Twitter stock will rise because of the purchase. With how Elon Musk has played with Twitter’s share price throughout this whole saga, this makes for an obvious answer. Ever since Musk chose to back out of the deal, Twitter lost a lot of value considering that Musk was willing to pay above what many considered fair value for the social media business. Now that Musk is back on board, the stock feels destined to rise back to previous levels to match the deal, making this the smartest vote for first place. In second place is the 23 percent of Invstrs who believe Twitter will stay stagnant because of the deal. This makes for an interesting choice considering anytime Elon Musk is involved with something, volatility is always next door. If updates were to stall regarding the acquisition, this could be the case. Since this is super unlikely, it is very surprising that this came out as a second-place finish.

To close out the podium, we have the 22 percent of Invstrs who believe that Twitter’s share price will decrease because of the acquisition. This is definitely a possibility considering the volatility aspect of Musk. Anything can happen when Musk is around, and a common argument being used is his workload. Musk is now in charge of managing 3 of the largest businesses in the world, so his attention might fall off Twitter sometimes. There are too many possibilities with this visionary as your leader, making this a choice that should have gotten more votes. In last place is the 16 percent of Invstrs who don’t have a clue as to how Twitter stock will perform following the acquisition. This situation is unpredictable, and for some this is the first time they have heard of the situation. Although bullish is the option that will play out, it is definitely hardbraze

to tell what will happen from here on out with all the messy litigation issues that still exist.

Did you own any Twitter shares before the acquisition was announced? Have fun and see you next time with more poll results!
