Earnings Reports (12/12/22 – 12/16/22)

*dates subject to change*

Earnings Preview:

A mixture of global economic data and events created a lot of volatility in the markets, causing them to end lower at the finish of the week.

Some earnings highlights included Lululemon and MongoDB, the former falling due to concerns about profitability and their outlook for the year 2023.

Democrats were able to increase their majority in the Senate, with incumbent Raphael Warnock winning his runoff election in the state of Georgia. Additionally, the energy market saw many things go into effect, including the price cap on Russian oil and the EU embargo. Manufacturing data came out throughout the entire world, showing which economies are progressing.

Overall, U.S. stocks turned negative after November, when the market gained a lot of ground back. The jittery state of investors at the moment should likely transform into fear or positivity as we enter an important week. Going forward, investors should monitor major company earnings and the Federal Reserve meeting on Wednesday.

Here are the companies from this week’s expected earnings:

  • Weber Inc – 12/14 (#webr)
  • Accenture – 12/16 (#accent)
  • Winnebago – 12/16 (#wgo)
  • Darden Restaurants – 12/16 (#darden)
