COVID Conspiracy True? 😷

COVID Conspiracy True?

COVID-19 has affected us all. Ever since it became a pandemic, we’ve seen many lockdowns change our work life, how we get food, our social life, and our school life. Although China, the origin of the virus, handled it very well, it spread to other countries where the pandemic response was lackluster. If that bat in the wet market was clean, the pandemic would’ve never happened. That’s what we thought, at least, until some spooky reports came in.

For a while, the idea that COVID-19 originated from a Chinese lab has been a conspiracy theory. A probe by the WHO deemed it highly unlikely, and many accepted the fact that it came from a bat. However, a disturbing intelligence report was released on Monday. They found that 3 virologists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology got infected with a disease in November 2019, which had similar symptoms to COVID-19, and it also led to their hospitalization. This fueled the debate over the origin of the virus, changing the minds of many people. Fauci said that he isn’t convinced that COVID was created naturally, which was surprising. Due to this report, many countries called for a deeper investigation into the Wuhan lab, even with China resisting.

The origin is still unknown, but the mere presence of a lab being involved isn’t good. If the origin was man-made, China is in big trouble, and geopolitics will be heated. The virus has killed millions and destroyed economies globally, so countries are willing to make China pay if this is true. If the origin is natural, life will continue as it has always been in 2021. That is, if China even allows countries to investigate. What do you think about the possibility of China playing dirty with the virus?
