Connected Conspiracy
The amount of conspiracies on the internet span far and wide. From Tupac’s death to the first Moon landing, someone always has something to say about the reality behind certain events and strange occurrences.
This time around it is no different. There’s a conspiracy theory linking the installation and connection of 5G data towers to the spread of the coronavirus. To some, this may sound absurd but there is already some very real evidence supporting the fact that people really do believe this.
In Britain, several 5G towers were set on fire by citizens who believed the radiation from the towers was in fact contributing to the COVID-19 spread.
More recently, Canada’s intelligence service has released a new confidential report which warns that violent extremists could be ready to attack 5G wireless communication towers.
Global News, a Canadian news station has revealed what these extremists have been thinking and saying : « Perhaps the most elaborate asserts that 5G was designed by governments to depopulate the world, and is part of a broader conspiracy theory called Agenda 21 that imagines the United Nations is trying to establish a new world order. None have any scientific validity, but white supremacists, neo-Nazis and anarchists have all adopted COVID-19 conspiracy theories to varying degrees, while the anti-vaxxer movement has promoted the notion that 5G is responsible for spreading COVID-19. »
Does this strike you as insane and invalid or has this conspiracy theory made you take a step back and reconsider what you’ve previously viewed as true?
