Chatted – How AI has Developed
AI, or artificial intelligence, refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think and act like humans. Over the past decade, AI has significantly improved in various areas, including natural language processing, image and voice recognition, and decision-making. Deep learning algorithms have even allowed machines to process large amounts of data and make decisions based on that data. This has led to strides in image and voice recognition systems as well as natural language processing, allowing machines to understand and respond to human speech with greater accuracy.
The most recent advances in AI are from the famous OpenAI, a research institute founded in 2015 to promote and develop friendly AI. The institute was founded by a group of researchers and technology entrepreneurs, including Elon Musk and Sam Altman, to advance the field of AI and ensure that its development benefits humanity. In 2018, Elon Musk left due to conflict-of-interest concerns with Tesla and has more recently announced on Twitter that he finds the current state of AI close to concerningly dangerous. Over the past few years, OpenAI has made several strides in advancing AI. Some of the most notable include DALL-E, a system that uses deep learning to generate images from text descriptions. DALL-E has been used to generate a wide range of images, from simple objects like dogs and cats to more complex scenes and abstract concepts. Other AIs include GPT3, which can generate human-like text based on a given prompt or input. It uses deep learning and natural language processing techniques to generate coherent and relevant responses to various inputs.
What do you think about AI? And will it revolutionize the next decade?
