Poll: Time to Embrace the Commute!!! 👨‍💼

This week, we asked the Invstr Community if they are looking forward to returning to the office. The poll was even and had a major plurality, with 42 percent of Invstrs being fine with this as long as they are paid. Some people didn’t feel that much of a change when the transition to virtual work happened, and that includes me. This makes this result an unsurprising one, but it also makes sense on how it wasn’t the overwhelming favorite.

In second place is the group of people who are excited to return to on-site work, with this option receiving 33 percent of the votes. On-site work is super fun for most people as they are comfortable with the workspace, and it is much easier to communicate with co-workers. Plus, people are desperate for interaction, so this fits as a second-place finish, though it could’ve made a run for the gold medal.

For last place, we have 25 percent of people who prefer remote work. Remote work is simply easier for some people as they can work from anywhere with an internet connection, and it allows for more flexibility. However, you have a high number of technical difficulties, and communicating through a Zoom isn’t really that authentic, so this seems about right.

Is your company returning to on-site work? If so, let us know in the Invstr Fantasy Finance feed!
