Earnings Preview:

Markets picked up steam with the indices finishing positive by the end of the week due to a great start.

Some earnings highlights included AMD which fell by 5 percent following an earnings report that caused them to lower their guidance.

Ahead of major economic news, investors started to price in their predictions for the September jobs report among others.

Overall, U.S. stocks have stayed positive as investors had a lot of economic data to digest this week. Going forward, investors should monitor company earnings, the run up to the midterm elections, and further global economic data.
