Another Millionaire to The List
The list of online millionaires has continued to grow at a rapid pace. As the effects of the pandemic resulted in more and more people staying indoors and at home, many of them turned to the internet to find ways to bring in more cash.
eBay.com was one of the places people turned to.
The entrepreneurial bug bit down on residents of Glasgow as eBay revealed that the Scottish city is home to ten new self-made millionaires from the platform. Meanwhile, in the city of London, there have been no less than 52 new millionaires, according to the Daily Record reports.
Out of all the products sold, the top categories for eBay millionaires include home, furniture, DIY projects, vehicle parts, clothes and shoes, among others.
The data says it all. There has been a 256% rise in the number of new businesses registering to sell on eBay UK during the lockdown. Which indicates that rather than seeing this new and unearned free time as something to take advantage of, many citizens chose to use the time to do something new.
2020 is officially the year of the side hustle.
