GitHub Causes Problems for Microsoft and You Wouldn’t Believe How Big Amazon Really Is

The biggest winner of the holiday season by far comes in the form of express delivery and everything you’ve ever needed. As people shift towards online shopping to get their hands on their favorite stuff, Amazon has positioned themselves to eat your budget for breakfast.

According to Wall Street firm Truist Securities, it is estimated that Amazon will claim 42 cents of every dollar spent during the full year-end shopping season. Can you imagine?

Microsoft

Back in 2018, Microsoft made a ginormous $7.5 billion acquisition of code-sharing website GitHub. There are over 50 million developers on the website and in situations where these users are unhappy with Microsoft’s leadership, they make it very clear.

Microsoft stated in its most recent annual report that political disputes can have an impact on company results. We’ll have to wait and see.
