Market Recap – June 28th
Yesterday the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.6%, the S&P 500 fell 2%, and the Nasdaq composite sold off 3%. The small-cap Russell 2000 also fell 1.85%. Looking at specific investments, we’re watching Nike and Walt Disney. Shares of Nike fell around 7% upon news that Wall Street’s earnings and sales expectations for the fiscal fourth quarter.
Walt Disney lost its 1% gain from the news that the Shanghai Disneyland will reopen this week after China relaxed its Covid restrictions for inbound travelers.
