Market Recap – August 25th
The markets had a good day for once with the S&P 500 up 1.41%, the Dow Jones up 0.98%, and the NASDAQ up 1.67%. Investors are feeling good before the Jackson Hole meeting, sending shares up. Snowflake was a big winner, rising by 23 percent following amazing growth in their earnings. Dollar Tree, on the other hand, fell by 10 percent as they missed on earnings while main competitor Dollar General beat their expectations.
