Market Recap – June 22nd
Markets performed slightly better yesterday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 643 points, or 2.2%, while the S&P 500 gained 2.5%; the Nasdaq Composite gained 2.5%.
Looking at specific investments, we’re watching Nike and Coinbase. While Nike’s shares fell over 3% after Seaport downgraded the stock, it is yet another issue that can be traced to rising inflation and supply chain disruptions. Looking at Coinbase similar poor performance can be noted, with rival crypto exchange Binance.US announcing their dropping of spot bitcoin trading fees for customers.
