Market Recap – June 21st
Markets saw slight gains with all three indexes. By mid-day, the Dow Jones was up 1.84%, the S&P 500 was up 2.45%, and the NASDAQ was up 2.93%. This week is make or break for the markets, especially with the past few days last week being deep in the red.
Looking at specific investments, we are watching Kellogg and Lennar. Kellogg has jumped 8.1% in premarket trading in light of its plans to split into three separate public companies. One for snack and international cereal, one for the U.S. cereal business, and one as a plant-based food producer.
