Anxiety is swelling around the coming earnings report for Oracle. The software company, founded by Larry Ellison, has lost some customer loyalty to Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. The company is also buying back less of its own shares. Analysts forecast $1.05 of profit per share for Oracle, on 10 billion dollars of revenue.
2. American Outdoor Brands (#aobc)
American Outdoor Brands is the place to stock up on guns and ammunition. Sales have waned recently, but investors in the arms dealer hope the stock has found a price floor. Criminal background checks also pose a new challenge to demand, leading to conservatively estimated earnings per share numbers of $0.17 on $168 million in revenue.
