Market Recap – June 15th
Stocks moved slightly up in the morning yesterday, but more sideways as investors prepared for the Federal Reserve’s move on interest rates. Many are relieved that their expectations will finally come true, for better or worse. Either way it looks like the Feds will aim to halt inflation.
Today we’re watching two specific stocks, Ford and Carnival. While Ford has been declining like most of the stock market, it saw some small gains yesterday, with the stock increasing under two percent. Carnival also saw major gains, growing around 4.5% in a single day as more Americans continue to head on vacations like cruises.
