Market Recap – July 14th
Markets were struggling yesterday, with The Dow Jones Industrial Average is sharply lower today, falling by 1.48% to 30,315.97. Most of the fall came from the energy and materials sectors which were down 4.10% and 3.38% respectively.
Looking at specific stocks, we’re watching Cisco and Costco. Shares of Cisco fell nearly 1% after JPMorgan downgraded the stock to neutral from outperform. On the other hand, Costco’s stock jumped 4% after Deutsche Bank upgraded the stock to buy and boosted its price target from $525 to $575.
