Market Recap – April 14th
The stock market observed Good Friday as a holiday, so the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq were closed. On Thursday, the markets fell, with the Nasdaq Composite losing 2.14% and the Dow losing 0.33%. Looking at two specific stocks, we’re watching Palantir and McDonald’s. Palantir is a big data company who could be seeing more investment as nations weight military spending – using software analytics as a means to gaining an edge.
