Aurora Cannabis
Aurora Cannabis reported Q2 earnings on Thursday. The Canadian cannabis producer reported a loss of C$75.1 million, missing analysts’ expectations of a loss of C$45.4 million. Revenue fell 10% from last year to C$60.6 million, beating analysts’ expectations of $C59.1 million. The company also said sales from medical cannabis grew 18% year-over-year to C$45.75 million. Recreational sales fell 48% to C$14.8 million.
Affirm Holdings
Affirm Holdings reported Q2 earnings on Thursday. The American financial technology company reported an earnings loss of $0.57 per share, missing analysts’ expectations of a loss of $0.37 per share. Revenue was $361 million, beating analysts’ expectations of $328.8 million. For the full fiscal year of 2022, the company expects revenue between $1.29 billion and $1.31 billion.
