What’s the story?

Invstr reached an exciting milestone last week, clocking in our 100,000th Fantasy Finance player – Woohoo! Our user base is growing at a rapid rate, with our intrepid Invstr community generating some pretty impressive performances too.

We’ve come a long way with Fantasy Finance and we have our incredible user base to thank for it. Here at Invstr we’re all about creating a nurturing environment for investors of all levels to learn, play and interact with others.

We’ve been working hard to create a positive environment where investors come to build confidence, hone skills and take control of their financial futures. And it’s not just about our users learning from us – we learn from them every day and keep filtering their feedback into a more enjoyable experience for all.

Here are just a few facts to excite the taste buds:

  1. Our players currently push out an average of 35,000 trades per day. That’s the equivalent of almost one every second – more than some average-sized real stock exchanges!
  2. The highest percentage return on an equity raked in an eye-watering 119% on retail store Debenhams, while the worst was -122% on Californian utility company, PG&E…Yikes.
  3. Our three most active stock sectors are:
    • Technology & Media
    • Auto
    • Retail
  4. These three sectors also make up a whopping 53% of all trades made on our platform – clearly this is where the action is!

The most popular instruments traded include:

Pretty cool stuff right?

So where to from here?

100,000 players is just the start. Invstr is really gaining traction, and we’re committed to our vision of bringing the future of finance to you.

So here’s to many more years of learning, playing and sharing with Invstr! And the next 100,000 players.
