GM Is Testing Autonomous Vehicles In San Francisco and Facebook Gets Sued by The FTC And Multiple States

GM

Cruise is a majority owned subsidiary of General Motors which works on fully autonomous vehicles. Now, the company has started testing its fully self-driving cars in San Francisco.

Cruise has more than 2 million miles under its belt over the last 5 years and has done this with billions of dollars of backing by General Motors, Honda Motor and SoftBank. Will you be opting out of driving and moving towards driverless when you have the chance?

Facebook is in the headlines this week after the Federal Trade Commission and a group of attorneys general across 48 U.S. states and territories filed 2 different antitrust lawsuits against the company.

The target if the lawsuits are Instagram and WhatsApp, for which they are seeking a solution for the alleged anti-competitive conduct that could lead to Facebook needing to divest the two apps. Following the news, Facebook shares feel nearly 2% by end of day.
