1.  Ameren (#ameren)

US utility company, Ameren, is on track to post its earnings today, and despite its stock price plummeting yesterday, analysts are upbeat about its chances at beating estimates. below average temperatures helped drive solid demand for energy in its primary territories, boosting its top-line nicely. Moreover, its investments in rate-regulated energy infrastructure have resulted in improved operating performance which will likely filter through into today’s report. The EPS estimate is $0.69 (+11.3%) on revenue of $1.62bn (+1.9%). 

2. GoPro (#gopro)

E-commerce website, Etsy, has been on an unstoppable bull run, rising 123% in a 52 week period, but analysts are feeling skeptical about today’s earnings announcement. The company has made considerable investment in its infrastructure and explored more efficient discovery, consumer marketing and product development initiatives this quarter. However, analysts anticipate macroeconomic headwinds are likely to dampen consumer spending on its more expensive vintage and handmade product line. Best of luck, Etsy.
