Market Recap – December 6th
Markets fell again, with some major losers leading the way. Volatility still plagues the market, and many key areas like the banking industry saw their shares down on Tuesday. This brought the overall markets down with the S&P 500 down 1.44%, the Dow Jones down 1.03%, and the NASDAQ down 2.00%. Meta fell by a greater margin, down 6.79% to $114.12 due to a plethora of reasons, including worries about content moderation and new rulings in the EU. On a more positive note, Signet Jewelers rose by 20.25% to $69.54 following an earnings beat and rise in sales, which is a good sign for the luxury industry.
