Amazon
Amazon reported Q4 earnings on Thursday. The American technology company reported adjusted earnings of $5.80 per share, beating analysts’ expectations of $3.57 per share. Revenue grew 9.4% to $137.4 billion, missing analysts’ expectations of $137.6 billion. Revenue from AWS was $17.8 billion vs. $17.37 as expected by analysts. The company also reported a nearly $12 billion gain from its investment in electric vehicle company Rivian.
Snapchat
Snapchat reported Q4 earnings on Thursday and reported its first quarterly net profit. The American technology company reported adjusted earnings of $0.22 per share, beating analysts’ expectations of $0.10 per share. Revenue was 1.3 billion, beating analysts’ expectations of $1.2 billion. Global Daily Active users were 319 million vs 316.9 million as expected by analysts.
