Market Recap – April 1st
The markets were a bit choppy on April Fools’ Day, with the S&P 500 up 0.34%, the Dow Jones up 0.4%, and the NASDAQ up 0.29%. All 3 indices recovered from midday losses to finish positive, but they were mostly hovering in this region. Some stocks broke away with this trend, with Rivian going the negative route as the supply chain bottlenecks have been flared up with the ongoing war. Rivian’s shares were down 8 percent, and BlackBerry faced the same losses due to a miss on revenue estimates.
