Today we are watching…

1.ย  Berkshire Hathaway (#berk-a)

The Oracle of Omaha. The man who never retired. The GOAT of investing? Throughout his life, Warren Buffett has enjoyed compounded success with Berkshire Hathaway. Today, the companyโ€™s quarterly earnings will be exposed. On countless occasions, Buffett has urged his shareholders to ignore short term earnings fluctuations. Heโ€™s even on the record calling for the end of earnings seasons like this when investors emotions are flared up by arbitrary misses and beats. For now, his holding companyโ€™s numbers remain under the 3-month microscope. Berkshire Hathaway is expected to report $2.71 in profit per share.

2. Ferrari NV (#race)

This high-performance supercar manufacturer is showing off its lap times today as investors await the quarterly earnings haul. With electric cars speeding up, the market is concerned whether a Ferrari could out sprint them in a drag race. Not only that, but also whether the prancing horse brand is established enough to help the company succeed in this new automotive era. The stock certainly shows no signs of slowing down, up 72% this year. Those gains will be strength tested today as the company aims to beat $1.03 in profit per share on $1.08 billion in revenue.
