Market Recap – June 30th
Markets struggled yesterday, with The Dow Jones Industrial Average losing 1.56%, the S&P 500 losing 2.01%, and the Nasdaq Composite staying neutral. Overall, U.S. stock futures fell Friday morning after the S&P 500 closed out its worst first-half performance in decades.
Looking at specific investments, Xerox’s CEO, John Visentin, died at age 59 due to complications from an ongoing illness. Constellation Brands, the spirits producer added 1% in the premarket in light of outperforming expectations.
